You Are What You Eat
One of the most frequent questions people ask me is what is more important for losing weight: nutrition or exercise? To me the answer is simple: Nutrition is way ahead. It's much more important because the old saying is true: you're truly are what you eat. Eating not only determines how much calories you put into your body and how much fat is likely to end up on the most annoying body parts, it's also the most significant thing for your health. What you eat can effect the condition of your digestive system, determine your energy levels, influence the condition of your skin, help you fight off the aging process, and even reduce or increase the risk of dangerous diseases like various heart conditions and Cancer. Exercise is also important, of course, but not nearly as much. The simplest way to think about it is to remember that your ability to do a killer workout is to eat enough nutritious food that day. So, make sure that you eat the right things. |
